Grit City Podcast 118: Vibe Returns - Down To Reiki

Episode 118: Return of Vibe from Down to Reiki

This podcast is in tribute to Jill Fairchild Adams, one of the shows biggest fans that did everything she could to support the guys, including liking and sharing all of their posts, and cheering them on along the way. She recently passed a couple weeks ago, she will be greatly missed.

On this episode Vibe Smith, owner of Down To Reiki returns. The guys first interviewed him February 2016 on Episode 80. Taken from his site, he is: a certified healing hands practitioner and Reiki master. He works with people from all walks of life and all types of physical and emotional pain, ranging from anger, emotional disconnection, PTSD, insecurity, unease and instability to stiffness, soreness, irritability, weakness and fatigue. Vibe looks beyond the physical symptoms and visible emotional scarring to identify the root causes of suffering so patients can deal, heal and feel good again. Vibe’s gift isn’t something he learned. Healing energy flows strongly through his family, as it has throughout the ages. Over the years, he developed his own technique that harmonizes Source Energy, the high vibration energy that unites all living things, with Love Energy, the lower frequency, easily absorbed energy that flows between souls. Some come for one session, others come from many. No matter how many steps one’s journey takes with Vibe, it’s a step forward to good health and happiness. For those looking for ways to get in touch with him to schedule a session, see the links below.

This episode kicks off with the guys talking about the great success of Vibe’s first visit on Episode 80. They talk about what it is that he does in terms of helping people help themselves on their journey. Vibe dives into what lead him to becoming a Reiki master, starting with the injury in the military, and how the process of healing from that injury lead him to eastern medicine and Reiki.

15:35 – Vibe talks about the trial and tribulations he went through and how those series of events helped him to become where he is today. He discusses his experience during surgery inside and outside of the VA. He then plunges deeper into the process of learning and developing the Reiki practice.

23:00 – They discuss source energy and space and how we set the tone for how everything flows in our lives. Vibe also explains dying during one of his surgeries, caused from being overly sedated, and how he ended up finding out about it.

At the halfway mark Vibe chats about what’s been happening since the last show, including joining BNI West Seattle Champions and the count of his clients doubling. One of the hosts talks about his mom’s first session with Vibe while under hospice care at the end of her life.

47:45 – Discussions turns to the importance of people opening up for help, coming from the place of love, letting go of fear and turning inside in order to improve themselves and their lives. They talk about how our culture at many times doesn’t allow that to happen and the importance of Yoga.

The show comes to an end with Vibe talking about other things he offers, including clearing and blessing of people’s residential houses. He gives info on how to reach him, including his website, Facebook, and Twitter pages (see below). Thanks Vibe for joining the guys for another awesome and enlightening podcast!!
