GCP 78: BikeroBrew
Episode 78: BikeroBrew
On this episode Scott and Brogan are joined by Jonathan Teeter from BikeroBrew (pronounced by-kroh-broo). BikeroBrew is a local Tacoma company that offers a unique way to explore Tacoma and it’s breweries. So if you have a bike, are over 21, and looking for a new way to explore Tacoma, visit their website and sign up for the next tour going on April 16th.
The show starts off talking about GCP review of 2015 and what’s to come in 2016. Jonathan then explains what BikeroBrew is and how they came up with the idea. He continues with explaining the new brewers that are opening in Tacoma, and how BikeroBrew also offers a history tour to bikers during the event.
Talk then turns to Obama opening up trade with Cuba and review of their cigars. They also dive into discussion of Cuba’s trade with Russia and Vice’s article on going to there and looking into buying a nuclear weapon and other military arms in areas across the country.
The guys then plunge into great shows on Netflix, including Marco Polo and House of Cards. Conversation then goes back to the brewers BikeroBrew is partnered with, including Wing Man Brewing and Pacific Brewing and the agreements they’ve come up with. Jonathan also explains pricing and how the event works and that people cannot get a DUI while riding their bike intoxicated in Tacoma.
Show winds down chatting about bikes they rent out and having sponsors sponsor a bike where they would paint the bike and creating a “Mobile Advertisement” for them. He also talks about the core of BikeroBrew which is to get people out and exploring the area and that they’re promoting good health and getting to know small business in the area.
