GCP 82: Mike Warren

Episode 82: Mike Warren

On this week’s episode the guys talk to Mike Warren, and local Tacoma artist and musician. His art focus is based around Sci-Fi costumes and models, and his music focus is in the country and classic rock genres. A truly talented artist, fans can see his work at the EMP museum in Seattle.

The show starts off with Mike talking about his love of art growing from a young age. He explains that his desire to create art came from his interest in science fiction and making replicas of Star Wars figures. The guys also talk about hanging out as kids and Jack’s dad helping Mike make his first molds in his early days. Mike also dives into how he went from making the replicas at home to making components of Darth Vader’s costume for EMP in Seattle.
