On this episode, the guys discuss the recent losses in the entertainment world, music, the wrestling era of the 80’s, living life to its fullest every day, Scott’s trip to Porchfest, and Jeff’s trip to Oregon.

01:38 – Scott and Jeff reflect on meeting on the message board back in the day, what it was known for before it was defunded, and discuss listening to Off The Hook back in the day. They talk about famous people grew up wealthy but downplay it, Jeff talks about 80’s documentaries that are coming out, and Scott talks about the sad RIPS’s this week.

13:36 – The share how Malcolm-Jamal Warner passed away, the amazing years of music covered by Ozzy, and the Google tribute to him. Jeff discusses the controversy surrounding Sharon Osborne, Scott reflects on the Ozzy songs he loved to jam to as a kid, and talks about the numerous remakes of the Prong song "Snap Your Fingers Snap Your Neck."

25:58 – Jeff talks about skipping church to watch WWE, great debates between him and his friends that derived from the fights, and the wrestling tribute to the song Land of 1000 Dances. They talk about The Hulk before all of the drama he was involved in later in life, and Scott talks about how the recent passings make him reflect on life.

35:45 – Scott talks about going to Porchfest, the bands he caught while there, and Jeff reflects on his recent visit to Rock Away Beach in Oregon. He talks about running into Geocachers, Scott explains what Geocaching is, and Jeff gives his review of the cannabis shop he explored in Oregon. Scott talks about partaking on the beach, building fires there as well, and Jeff talks about the old train there.

This episode is a continuation of their visit to the Grit City Comic Convention. They get a chance to talk to the guys from SOS Wrestling, Ken Carlson, friend of the podcast and creator of Hellbound Slant 6, and they go deep in the nerd talk with another friend of the podcast Rusty the Comedian.

01:38 – Justin shares where listeners can get the haps of local sports in Discord, talks about Brogans Drunksgiving celebration, and Scott talks about his recent attendance at the Tacoma Stars soccer match. Justin talks about the Supernatural car at the convention, Jeff talks about the creative cloud at the event, and Justin reflects on watching wrestling at the Tacoma Dome.

27:06 – Justin shares where listeners can find out more information about SOS Wrestling, the upcoming wrestling event, and Derek talks about the change-up of the wrestling character of Stone Cold Steve Austin after his injury. Ken breaks down the baseline of his comic book series Hellbound Slant 6, proposes a live table read on the podcast, and they discuss if they love an egg on a burger or not.

54:26 – The crew gives their review of breakfast pizza, Justin talks about the latest pizza of the month at Puget Sound Pizza, and Scott points out Doc from Z Nation at the event. Ken explains his first interaction with Godzilla, Justin shares his favorite part of Power Rangers, and Ken talks about where people can find them online.

78:05 – Justin kicks off the comic superhero version of Is It Tacoma, Rusty reflects on the last time he’s performed comedy onstage, and Justin talks about GCP’s continuum of their questing in the VR world. Rusty talks about doing comedy on Zoom, Derek explains the bonus content they offer to Patrons, and they close out by giving a shout-out to the Grit City Comic show.

Justin compares the difference between DC and Marvel characters, Ethan talks about people coming into the store interested in the b and c comic book characters and Peace Makers background story in the comic book.

44:22 – Jeff talks about how the Batman Return of the Phantasm is a cinematic masterpiece, he asks Ethan another coaster question, and Justin expresses his love of the Y: The Last man comic books. Ethan shares his favorite comic book based TV series, what sold him on the show, and they give props to John Cena's improv in Pease Maker. Ethan gives props to James Gunn for the casting of Guardians of the Galaxy, Justin talks about James's movie Super and how he brilliantly casted the main character.

66:32 – Ethan talks about being on the pulse of discovering artists in the area, his appreciation for the writing style of Kayden Phoenix, and his shift in business due to Covid. Jeff shares how he got his son interested in comic books, Ethan discusses how he is a comic book trade paperback person, and talks about buying comic books he loves for himself then reselling them in his store at a discount. He talks about starting collecting vinyl, the record treasures he finds, and Justin talks about cool records he's found.

Ethan HD is a pro wrestler, international pro wrestling coach, stand-up comedian, former rapper and entrepreneur. 1:18 – The show kicks off with discussion on if Louisiana is a French Alabama or French Mississippi, Scott talks about running into Ethan at the train station and inviting him to visit the show again, and Ethan gives his record of their meeting.
